Purchased the warm duo, including the tallow face balm. I recently experienced a chemical burn on my hand at work. After attempting to get relief from many creams, polysporin, glaxal base, peptides... the list goes on, nothing was effective or providing any relief from the severe irritation. Not wanting to go the steroid route, I remembered my Mom telling me that my Grandma, used tallow on my uncle after a propane tank had exploded near him and left him with significant burns. He healed with no scars as if the incident never occured. Desperate for relief, I thought maybe my hand could benefit too. And WOW, this tallow balm did not disappointment. To put in perspective how Amazing this tallow is...I received my products on Saturday, I applied the face balm (choosen for its simplicity, just tallow and castor oil) to my hand at noon, by 8pm I noticed my hand/fingers were not irritated at all, that burning discomfort was gone. I applied the tallow again before going to bed and on Sunday morning, my fingers looked less red, and I was able to put my wedding rings back on with no discomfort. On Monday my daughter asked me what was working, as she noticed less redness on my hand and fingers. So here I am, 5 days after applying this tallow balm and I am so thrilled to report my hand is almost healed, one would have to know about the incident, and specifically focus on the fingers affected, to even notice any evidence of the burn. And yes, as the name states ...tallow "face" balm, I have been applying it to my face, and the silky softness is very real. The knowledge, purposeful intention and love that goes into these hand made products is very evident, and bottom line they WORK.
